How to Create and Publish Reels on Instagram Using ArtHelper

ArtHelper can publish Reels directly to Instagram from your artwork. Facebook isn’t a direct target — but Instagram has a cross-posting setting that automatically copies anything you post to a linked Facebook account. This article covers both halves.

Before you start

  • Connect your Instagram Business or Creator account to ArtHelper. Personal accounts won’t work. See How to Connect Instagram and Post Artwork if you haven’t connected yet.

  • Upload at least one image you want to feature in the Reel — go to Upload.

How to publish a Reel

  1. Go to My Artwork.

  2. Click the image you want to start with, then click Post to Social.

  3. You’ll land on the Post page. At the top of the Media step there’s a row of aspect-ratio tabs: 1:1, 4:5, 16:9, and Reels (9:16).

  4. Click the Reels (9:16) tab. The preview switches to the vertical Reels player.

  5. Add or rearrange images. You can include several images and ArtHelper will animate between them. Use the thumbnail strip below the preview to reorder by drag-and-drop.

  6. Open the Edit Reel panel to add background music, set seconds per image, and add text overlays.

  7. Click Next to move to the Caption step. Edit the caption on the left; the Reels preview is on the right.

  8. Click Post Now to publish, or Schedule to pick a time.

  9. Confirm by clicking Post to Instagram. It takes 1–3 minutes for the Reel to appear on your Instagram account.

Cross-posting Reels to Facebook

ArtHelper doesn’t publish to Facebook directly, but Instagram does. Once you turn on Instagram’s cross-posting setting, every Reel you publish through ArtHelper also shows up on the linked Facebook page or profile.

  1. Open the Instagram app on your phone and go to your profile.

  2. Tap the menu (three lines), then tap Settings and privacy.

  3. Tap Sharing to other appsFacebook.

  4. Link your Instagram account to your Facebook profile or page if it isn’t already.

  5. Turn on the option to share Reels to Facebook automatically.

From that point on, every Reel posted to Instagram through ArtHelper will also appear on the linked Facebook account.

Common questions

I don’t see the Reels (9:16) tab on the Post page.

Reels are released through ArtHelper in stages. If you don’t see the tab yet, your account doesn’t have access yet. Check back, or message us via the chat icon at the bottom right of app.arthelper.ai.

Can I schedule a Reel for later?

Yes. On the Caption step, click Schedule instead of Post Now and pick a date and time. Scheduled Reels show up on your Calendar, where you can edit or delete them before they go live.

Why does my Reel take a couple of minutes to appear on Instagram?

Instagram processes Reels server-side before they go live — that processing typically takes 1–3 minutes. If the Reel still isn’t live after 10 minutes, check the Calendar for an error message on the post.

Can I add music to my Reel?

Yes — the Edit Reel panel includes a Music picker. Pick a track and adjust the seconds-per-image timing to match.
