How to Connect and Manage Your Marketing Integrations

Integrations is where you link social accounts to ArtHelper so it can publish posts on your behalf. Today, the main supported integrations are Instagram and Facebook. You’ll connect each one once; after that, posting and scheduling work end-to-end.

Connect an account

  1. Open Integrations.

  2. Find the platform you want to connect (for example, Instagram).

  3. Click Connect next to it.

  4. You’ll be sent to the social platform’s login page. Sign in to the account you want to use.

  5. Grant ArtHelper the permissions it asks for (publish content, read your profile). Without these, scheduling and auto-posting won’t work.

  6. When you land back on Integrations, the row should now show your connected account name and a green status.

Tip

Before you click Connect, sign in to the right account in another browser tab — for Instagram, that means the Instagram account linked to your Facebook Page. The connect flow uses whichever account your browser is already signed into, and switching mid-flow is fiddly.

Disconnect or reconnect an account

If posts are failing or the integration looks stale, disconnecting and reconnecting clears most issues:

  1. Open Integrations.

  2. Find the connected account and click Disconnect.

  3. Click Connect again and walk through the login flow as above.

Why integrations matter

  • Posting and scheduling — once Instagram or Facebook is connected, you can publish or schedule posts from Post and review what’s queued in Calendar.

  • AutopilotArt Marketing Autopilot needs a connected social account to post on your behalf.

  • Get More FollowersGet More Followers needs your Instagram account connected to run.

Common questions

How many accounts can I connect?

One Instagram account and one Facebook Page per ArtHelper account. If you need to switch which account is connected, disconnect the current one first and then connect the new one.

A post failed to publish. What do I check first?

Open Integrations and look at the status next to your social account. If it shows an error or “reconnect required,” click Disconnect and then Connect again. Social platforms expire authorization tokens periodically, and reconnecting refreshes them.

Do I need to give ArtHelper my password?

No. The connect flow happens on Instagram’s or Facebook’s own login page, and they hand back a token. ArtHelper never sees or stores your password.

Can I connect a personal Instagram account?

Instagram only allows third-party tools like ArtHelper to post to Business or Creator accounts that are linked to a Facebook Page. If your account is set to Personal, switch it in the Instagram app first (Settings → Account → Switch to Professional account), then come back and connect it.
