Verification Guide: How to Get Your "Human-Made Art" Badge
The Human-Made Art™ badge is ArtHelper’s way of marking work as the product of a real, named artist. This article covers how to apply, what membership costs, and what you receive once your badge is live.
The mission behind the mark: as the internet fills with AI-generated images, the badge is a public, verifiable promise that a person — with hands, a studio, and a life — made the work.
How to apply
There are two ways to start verification:
From the header on arthelper.com: sign in, then click Get Verified in the top header. You’ll land on the same verify page.
From there, click Get the Badge to start checkout. The trust team kicks off a two-stage review once payment is in — a detection model checks your work for generative markers, then a human reviewer looks at what it flagged.
Membership pricing
Monthly — $5.00 per month.
Annual — $59.88 per year (saves $36 vs. paying monthly).
Both plans unlock the same benefits.

After your badge goes live
Once verified, open your Verified Toolkit to display the badge on your website, post announcement cards on social, paste an email signature, download QR codes and stickers, send the press kit, and invite other artists. Common questions
How long does verification take?
The trust team aims to review every new submission within a few business days. You’ll hear from us by email when your badge goes live.
What if I’m not approved?
If a submission fails the human review, the trust team reaches out by email with the reason and next steps. In most cases you can re-apply.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Membership is recurring; cancel anytime from your Billing page on app.arthelper.ai. The badge stays live until the end of your current billing period.
I’m verified but the badge isn’t showing on my work yet.
Try a hard refresh of the page. If the badge still doesn’t appear within a few hours of verification going live, email Hey@arthelper.ai and we’ll take a look.
Does verification protect my old work too?
Yes — verification is per-artist, not per-piece. Every artwork you’ve uploaded (and every one you upload from now on) carries the same Human-Made mark.
