How to Connect Instagram and Post Artwork with ArtHelper.ai

ArtHelper can post directly to your Instagram Business or Creator account — single images, carousels, or Reels. This article walks through the one-time connection, then how to publish or schedule your first post.

Step 1: Connect your Instagram account

You only need to do this once.

  1. Sign in at app.arthelper.ai and click Integrations in the left-hand navigation.

  2. Click Connect next to Instagram.

  3. In the dialog that opens, click Go To Instagram.

  4. Sign in to Instagram and approve access to your Instagram Business or Creator account.

Only Business or Creator accounts can be connected. Personal accounts won’t work. If you have a personal Instagram, you can convert it to a business account in the Instagram app.

Once you approve access, you’ll be redirected back to Integrations. Your Instagram account now shows under Connected Accounts.

Step 2: Pick an artwork and start the post

  1. Open My Artwork.

  2. Click the image you want to promote.

  3. On the image’s detail page, look at the Sparks list on the right side and click Social Post. ArtHelper drafts a caption for the image automatically.

  4. If you like the draft, click Post in the top right.

You’ll land on the Post page, which walks through three steps: Media, Caption, and Schedule. If your Instagram account isn’t connected yet, you’ll be prompted to connect it here.

Step 3: Pick your images and aspect ratio (Media step)

  1. Add up to 10 images for the post — drag to reorder them.

  2. Pick an aspect ratio: 1:1 (square), 4:5 (portrait), 16:9 (landscape), or Reels (9:16) for vertical Reels.

  3. Crop each image inside the preview.

  4. Click Choose a different artwork if you want to swap one image for another, or upload a new image from this step.

  5. Click Next.

Step 4: Edit your caption and post (Caption step)

  1. Review or edit the generated caption on the left.

  2. Preview your Instagram post on the right.

  3. Click Post Now to publish immediately, or Schedule to pick a date and time.

  4. Confirm by clicking Post to Instagram.

It usually takes 1–3 minutes for the post to appear on Instagram.

Step 5: Manage posts in the Calendar

Every post you publish or schedule shows up on your Calendar.

  1. Open Calendar from the left-hand navigation.

  2. Click any post to preview it.

  3. Click View Post in the upper right of the preview to open it on Instagram.

  4. To start a new post from this view, click New Post.

Troubleshooting

I don’t see “Integrations” in the left navigation.

Try these in order:

  1. Sign out of ArtHelper and sign back in.

  2. Do a hard refresh of your browser — Cmd + R on Mac, Ctrl + F5 on Windows.

  3. If it still doesn’t appear, message us via the chat icon at the bottom right.

I’m getting a redirect error when connecting Instagram on mobile.

This usually happens because mobile Safari or Chrome tries to hand the connection off to the Instagram app.

  • Do not open the Instagram app if prompted.

  • When the browser asks “Open in Instagram app?”, choose Continue in browser.

  • Make sure the Instagram account you’re connecting is a Business or Creator account — personal accounts won’t connect.

Can I disconnect my Instagram account later?

Yes. Open Integrations, find your connected Instagram account, and disconnect it from there. You can reconnect any time.

Can I connect more than one Instagram account?

Yes. Click Connect Another Account on the Integrations page after the first connection is in.
