ArtHelper Contest Participation
ArtHelper runs recurring contests so artists can showcase their work across mediums. This article walks through how to enter the contest that’s currently open, the categories you’ll typically see, and how to earn extra votes.

Is a contest open right now?
Look under Active. Anything listed there is currently accepting entries.
If Active is empty, no contest is open. Follow the Human-Made Art Society community on www.arthelper.com/community so you’ll see the next one announced.
Categories you might see
Each contest is themed. Recent and recurring categories include:
Open — any medium, any style.
Portrait + People — human subjects, any medium.
Nature + Wildlife Photography — photographic work only.
Watercolor Paintings — watercolor only.
The exact categories change from round to round. Check each contest card on arthelper.com/contests for what this round accepts.
How to enter
Submissions are made as a comment on the contest thread — not via a separate upload form.
From www.arthelper.com/contests, click the contest you want to enter.
Scroll to the comment box at the bottom of the thread.
Attach your image and add a short caption about the piece if you’d like.
Click Comment to post your entry.
One image per artist, per contest. Extras will be removed — choose your strongest piece.
After your entry is posted, the ••• menu on your comment lets you edit the image or caption, report another entry, or remove your own. Edit and Delete only appear on your own entries; Report shows on every entry.
Earning 5 bonus votes
You can earn 5 extra votes on your entry by helping share the Human-Made Art mission.
On the contest post, click Share.
Copy the link or share to your platform of choice — Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, SMS, email.
For the 5-vote Human-Made bonus, also post one of the Human-Made share graphics on Instagram with the hashtag #humanmadeart and a caption explaining what protecting hand-made art means to you.
Bonus votes are added to your entry on the contest thread. If they don’t appear within a day, reply on the thread with the link to your Instagram post and we’ll add them.
Common questions
Can I change my submission after posting?
Yes. Open your comment, click the three-dot menu (•••) in the corner, and choose Edit. The image and caption can both be updated until the deadline.
Can I enter more than one contest?
Yes — if more than one contest is active and your work fits, enter each one. The one-image rule is per contest.
How long do contests stay open?
The deadline is on every contest card. Most contests run 1–2 weeks.
