Getting Started with ArtHelper

🎨 Brand new here? Start with this.

Don’t worry if the platform feels unfamiliar at first — you only need to do one thing to get started:

Upload a photo of your artwork.

That’s it. Once your artwork is uploaded, everything else in ArtHelper unlocks and becomes easy to explore.

Here’s how to do it in 3 steps:

  1. Go to app.arthelper.ai and log in.

  2. Click the big “Add Artwork” button and upload a photo (JPG or PNG works best).

  3. Click on your uploaded artwork — from there, you’ll see all the tools ArtHelper has to offer.

Once you’ve done that, scroll down to read about everything you can do next.

TL;DR

  1. Upload or drag‑and‑drop your first artwork.

  2. Open the piece and pick a Spark (pre‑built AI prompt) to generate titles, social posts, Etsy listings, and more.

  3. Download realistic mock‑ups, or post directly to Instagram/Facebook — captions and hashtags included.

  4. Refine outputs with Custom rules and Voice settings whenever you need a consistent tone.

  5. Save or schedule your best content, then come back any time from Saved content on the left sidebar.

1. Add your artwork

  1. Log in at app.arthelper.aiDashboard.

  2. On the Add your art screen, either:

    • Drag a file onto the page, or

    • Click Upload artwork and choose one or more images.

  3. Thumbnails appear instantly. Click the trash‑can icon to delete a mistaken upload.

2. Open a piece and explore Sparks

What Are Spark Runs?

A Spark run is counted each time a Spark generates content. This includes both the initial output and any subsequent revisions based on user feedback. For example:

  • Generating a product description for the first time counts as one Spark run.

  • Requesting a revision of the same description also counts as an additional Spark run.

This ensures that every use of the AI-powered tools is accounted for.

Give Sparks more context

  1. Click Edit details (top right of the artwork panel).

  2. Fill in Title, Description, or Tags — e.g. “Good Intents, painted on a camping trip in Colorado”.

  3. Hit Save. Every Spark you run for this artwork now remembers those details.

3. Fine‑tune AI outputs

  • Inline edits – Overwrite any word, add emojis, or remove hashtags before clicking Done.

  • Voice settings – Under the output box, slide the tone toward Formal, Friendly, Professional, or Witty.

  • Avoid words – Tell the AI to skip terms like “brushwork” if they don’t fit your brand voice.

  • Clear session & start over – Wipes the current conversation but keeps your artwork details.

4. Set up Custom rules (Pro feature)

Need every Etsy description to hit 400 characters or every social post to end with a CTA?

  1. While viewing a Spark, click Custom rulesAdd rule.

  2. Write your instruction (e.g. “Always write a 400‑character description”).

  3. Save. The rule switches On (black).

  4. Click Clear session → Start over. All future outputs from this Spark follow your rule automatically.

5. Generate unlimited mock‑ups

  1. Inside the artwork panel, open Mock‑ups.

  2. Search by colour or scene — e.g. red, crib, pillow.

  3. Click a mock‑up to download a high‑resolution JPG to your browser.
Merch mock‑ups like T‑shirts and pillows are included.

6. Post (or schedule) to social media

Prerequisite: Connect Instagram or Facebook once under IntegrationsConnect account.

  1. With any artwork open, open any spark that has Instagram icon (Social Post) and hit Post.

  2. Select up to 10 images or mock‑ups. Drag to reorder or change orientation.

  3. Next → Review / edit the auto‑generated caption.

  4. Choose Post now or Schedule (pick date & time).

  5. Success! Posts appear in your calendar and go live within ~1 minute.

You can also start from Post to social in the sidebar to mix images from multiple artworks.

7. Save content for later

  1. In any Spark, click Save.

  2. Enter a name (e.g. “Instagram post – to schedule”).

  3. Retrieve drafts anytime via Saved content in the left sidebar.

  4. Edit, copy, delete, or post directly from the saved item.

8. Discover where to sell or promote

  • Reddit group finder – Returns direct links to subreddits that match your subject (e.g. r/HorseArt).

  • Facebook group search – Opens a ready‑made search query for niche groups; join and share away.

9. Manage Sparks like a pro

  • Sort – Newest | Frequent | A→Z.

  • Favourite – Click ★ next to any Spark; filter by Favourites to stack your personal toolkit at the top.

10. Need help or want a feature?

  • How‑to videos – Found under Help videos at the bottom of the sidebar (this tutorial lives there).

  • Feedback – Click Feedback inside the app and describe any issue or request. Our team reviews every post.
