Cancelling, upgrading, or pausing your subscription
You manage every paid subscription on ArtHelper — your main plan, any add-on subscriptions, and Human-Made Art verification — from one place: the Billing page. This guide shows you how to upgrade, change your payment card, or cancel.
Where to manage billing
Sign in and go to your Billing page.
You’ll see a card for each active subscription you have — your main ArtHelper plan at the top, then any add-ons below it (Get More Followers, Art Marketing Autopilot, Human Made Art).
Each card has a Billing portal button on the right.
How to upgrade your plan
On the Billing page, click Upgrade Plan at the top of the page (or on your plan card).
This takes you to the Plans page where you can compare tiers.
Click the Upgrade button under the plan you want.
Complete the secure Stripe checkout. Your new plan starts right away, with prorated billing handled automatically.
How to update your card, change billing cycle, or cancel
All of these are handled in the Stripe billing portal — a secure page run by our payment processor.
On the Billing page, find the subscription you want to change.
Click Billing portal on that card. A new tab opens with Stripe’s secure portal.
From there you can update your payment method (card or bank), switch between monthly and yearly billing, cancel the subscription, or download past invoices.
Changes take effect right away. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Each subscription has its own billing portal button. If you have multiple subscriptions (for example a Pro plan plus Get More Followers), use the matching Billing portal button — they’re managed separately.
Pausing instead of cancelling
The Stripe portal supports pausing on most subscriptions. Inside the portal, look for a “Pause” option on your subscription. If pause isn’t offered for your plan, cancelling and rejoining later is the alternative — your portfolio and account stay put either way.
What happens when you cancel
Your paid features stay active until the end of the billing period you’ve already paid for.
After that, your account moves to the free tier. Your art, profile, and community presence stay intact.
Public art images above the free-tier limit may become private until you re-subscribe or pick a smaller paid tier.
You can resubscribe anytime from the Plans page.
Common questions
Will I be charged again if I cancel mid-month?
No. You keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then nothing further is billed.
Can I get a refund?
We handle refunds case by case. Click Contact us at the bottom of your Billing page to reach support.
I’m on a trial — when am I charged?
Your Billing page shows a Trial badge with the trial-end date next to your plan name. You’re charged on that date unless you cancel first.
How do I download a receipt or invoice?
Open the Billing portal for the subscription. Past invoices are listed there and can be downloaded as PDF.
