How to Connect Instagram and Post Artwork with ArtHelper.ai

With ArtHelper.ai, you can now seamlessly connect your Instagram Business or Creator account, generate stunning content, and publish or schedule posts directly to Instagram. Here’s how to get started:

🔗 Step 1: Connect Your Instagram Account

To publish or schedule posts, you’ll need to connect your Instagram Business or Creator account.

  1. Click on “Integrations” in the left-hand navigation.

  2. Click the “Connect” button next to Instagram.

  3. In the pop-up, click “Go To Instagram”.
    ​

  4. Log in and approve access to connect your Instagram Business or Creator account.

Important
Only Business or Creator accounts can be connected. You can convert a personal profile into a business account via the Instagram app.

Once connected, you’ll be redirected back to ArtHelper.

🖼️ Step 2: Select Artwork and Generate a Social Post

  1. Go to “My Artwork” in the left navigation.

  2. Click on the image you’d like to promote.

  3. From the list of “Sparks” on the right, click “Social Post”.

  4. A social media caption will be automatically generated. If you like it, click the “Post” button in the top right.
    ​


🧭 Step 3: Set Up Your Post

Once you click “Post,” you’ll be redirected to the scheduling and publishing flow.

⚠️ If you haven’t connected your Instagram account yet, you’ll be prompted to do so before proceeding.

In the Media tab:

  1. Select up to 10 images for your post.

  2. Use cropping options: 4:5, 1:1, or 16:9 aspect ratios.

  3. Drag images to reorder them.

  4. Choose a different artwork or upload a new image if you wish.
    ​

Click “Next” to continue.

✍️ Step 4: Edit and Post Your Caption

On the Caption screen:

  • Review or edit the generated caption on the left.

  • Preview your Instagram post on the right.

When you’re ready:

  • Click “Post Now” to publish immediately.

  • Or click “Schedule” to pick a time.

Confirm your action by clicking “Post to Instagram” again.

⏳ It may take 1–3 minutes for the post to appear live on Instagram.

🗓️ Step 5: View & Manage Posts in Calendar

To see your post history and upcoming scheduled content:

  1. Navigate to “Calendar” in the left-hand navigation.

  2. View all posted and scheduled posts.

  3. Click any post to preview it.

  4. Click the “View Post” icon in the upper right corner to open it directly on Instagram.
    ​

You can also create a new post directly from this view by clicking “New Post”.

🛠️ Troubleshooting Steps

Having trouble connecting your Instagram account or seeing the Integrations option? Try the tips below:

1. “I can’t see or don’t have the ‘Integrations’ link”

This usually means you’re seeing an older version of the platform.

Try this:

  • Log out of ArtHelper.ai and log back in.

  • Do a hard refresh of your browser:

    • Mac: Press Cmd + R

    • Windows: Press Ctrl + F5

2. “I’m getting a redirect error when trying to integrate with Instagram”

This is commonly caused by the mobile browser trying to open the Instagram app.

Try this:

  • Do not open the Instagram app if prompted.

  • When your browser says “Open in Instagram app?”, choose “Continue in browser” instead.

  • Make sure you’re using an Instagram Business or Creator account—personal accounts won’t work.
