Sharing your art and posts to other social platforms

ArtHelper makes it easy to share what’s happening on your account — your artwork, a community post, an Assistant conversation — to social platforms outside ArtHelper. This guide covers what’s available and how to use it.

Platforms you can share to

From the Quick Share window, you can post directly to:

  • Facebook

  • Threads

  • X (formerly Twitter)

  • Pinterest

  • LinkedIn

  • Bluesky

  • Reddit

  • WhatsApp

Plus a Copy link option that gives you a URL you can paste into email, text messages, Messenger, or anywhere else.

How to share from ArtHelper

  1. Open the thing you want to share — a piece of artwork, a community post, an Assistant conversation, or any page with a Share button.

  2. Click Share.

  3. A Quick Share window opens. You’ll see a row of round social icons.

  4. Click the icon for the platform you want. A new window or tab opens with your share pre-filled — your title, a link back to ArtHelper, and (for image-based sharing) the image.

  5. Edit the caption if you like, then post.

Tip

You don’t need to be signed into each platform inside ArtHelper. The share opens in a new tab on that platform — you sign in there if you aren’t already.

How to just copy the link

  1. Click Share.

  2. In the Quick Share window, click the chain-link icon (it’s the last button in the row).

  3. You’ll see a small Copied to clipboard confirmation.

  4. Paste the link anywhere — email, text, Messenger, a doc.

Sharing to Instagram

Instagram doesn’t allow direct sharing the way these platforms do, so we built a separate posting tool. From the Share window on a piece of artwork, look for Post to Social and the Build from Scratch section — click Go. That opens our Instagram posting flow where you can build a single-image post, carousel, or Reel and publish to your connected Instagram account.

See our Instagram integration guide for setting up the Instagram connection.

What people see when you share

When you share to a social platform from ArtHelper, the share usually includes:

  • A link back to the ArtHelper page (your artwork, your community post, or a shared chat).

  • For image-based shares: a preview of the image.

  • A short title or description, which you can edit before posting.

The exact format depends on the platform — Pinterest emphasizes the image, X favors the link card, Reddit asks for a subreddit. We pass each platform whatever it can use.

Common questions

Do I need to connect each social account to ArtHelper to share?

No. For Quick Share, you just post in the new tab that opens. The only social account you need to connect inside ArtHelper is Instagram, because Instagram works differently (see our Instagram guide).

Can I share a community post I made?

Yes. The same Share button on a community post opens the same Quick Share window. The link points back to your post.

Can I share an Assistant conversation?

Yes — click Share this chat below any Assistant reply, then use the Quick Share window. See our guide on sharing chats for more.

Does ArtHelper post on my behalf?

No (except for Instagram, where you’ve explicitly connected your account). For every other platform, the share opens in a new tab and you publish from there.

Where’s TikTok?

TikTok doesn’t support the same kind of web-share-link flow these other platforms do — there’s no way for us to pre-fill a TikTok post from the browser. You can still copy the link and paste it into your TikTok caption manually.
