Sharing an Assistant conversation with someone
Sometimes you have a great back-and-forth with the ArtHelper Assistant — a polished artist statement, a brainstorm for show titles, a sharp piece of writing about your work — and you want to send it to someone. ArtHelper lets you turn any conversation into a shareable link.
How to share a chat
Open the conversation you want to share in the Assistant.
Under any reply from the Assistant, click Share this chat.
A share window opens with quick-share buttons for Facebook, Threads, WhatsApp, X, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Bluesky, Reddit, plus a copy-link button.
Pick where you want to send it, or click the link icon to copy the URL and paste it anywhere — email, text, Messenger, anywhere.
The link works for anyone — they don’t need an ArtHelper account to open it. They’ll see the full conversation, including the Assistant’s responses, in a clean read-only view.
What people see when they open your shared chat
Anyone who opens your shared-chat link gets a read-only view of the conversation at a URL like arthelper.com/shared/…. They can:
Read every message you sent and every reply the Assistant gave.
Scroll the whole conversation.
See the same formatting, links, and any images the Assistant generated.
They cannot:
See anything from your account that wasn’t in this conversation.
Continue the conversation or send messages on your behalf.
See chats you didn’t explicitly share.
How to stop sharing a chat
If you’ve shared a chat and want to take the public version down, you can un-share it. The link will stop working as soon as you do.
Open the chat in the Assistant.
Find the option to manage sharing (look for an “un-share” action near the share button in the conversation).
Confirm. You’ll see a confirmation that the chat is no longer shared.
The link stops working immediately. Anyone who already opened it and read the conversation will of course still have what they saw, but they can’t return to the URL.
Sharing a prompt (not the whole conversation)
If you ran a Spark or a tailored Assistant prompt and want to share just the prompt itself — so the other person can run their own version with their own artwork — look for the Share this prompt option in the same place. The shared prompt link lets someone else start a new chat from the same starting point, without seeing your conversation.
Common questions
Does sharing a chat reveal anything else about my account?
No. Only the messages in that one conversation are visible. Your artwork, profile, other chats, and any private details stay private.
Can I share a chat with someone who isn’t on ArtHelper?
Yes. The shared link works for anyone — signed in or not.
Can I edit the conversation before sharing?
No. The shared view is whatever’s in the conversation at the moment you share it. If you’ve sent something you’d rather not include, start a new chat and re-run the parts you want.
Will the other person see updates if I keep chatting?
Anyone with the link sees the latest version of the conversation, so new messages you add will appear if they reload the page. To freeze a version, copy the conversation text into an email or document instead.
How do I get rid of a share link?
Un-share the chat (see above). The link stops working immediately.
