Scheduling Posts with the Calendar

Planning your social media content ahead of time is one of the best ways to keep your audience engaged and maintain a consistent online presence. With ArtHelper, you can easily turn your uploaded artwork into scheduled posts using our calendar.

Follow this comprehensive guide to get your social media schedule set up.

Step 1: Upload Your Artwork

Before you can create and schedule a post, ArtHelper needs at least one piece of artwork in your digital library.

  1. Go to your My Artwork page.

  2. Click the blue Upload Artwork button.

  3. Choose your image file and wait for the upload to complete.

Step 2: Connect Your Social Accounts

To successfully schedule or publish posts, your social media accounts must be linked to ArtHelper.

  1. Navigate to the Integrations page.

  2. Find the platform you want to connect (Instagram) and follow the prompts to securely connect your account.

Step 3: Create and Schedule Your Post

Once your artwork is uploaded and your social account is connected, you’re ready to schedule!

  1. Open the My Artwork page.

  2. Select the specific artwork you want to feature.

  3. Choose the option to create a social post or Instagram post.

  4. Write your caption and make any necessary edits.

  5. In the post creator options, choose Schedule instead of Post Now.

  6. Pick the date and time you want your post to publish automatically.

  7. Double-check that your timezone is set correctly so it posts at the right time.

  8. Confirm the schedule.

Step 4: View Your Schedule

After confirming your post, head over to the Calendar. You will see your newly scheduled posts laid out in a clear, organized calendar view, allowing you to visualize your upcoming content strategy.

💡 Helpful Tips for Success

  • Plan Ahead: Use the calendar to map out your content days or weeks in advance so you can focus more time on creating your art.

  • Know Your Audience: Try to schedule your posts during the times of day when your followers and audience are most active online.

  • Stay Consistent: In social media algorithms, consistency matters much more than posting randomly. Stick to a predictable schedule!

🛠️ Troubleshooting

If something doesn’t go as planned, here are a few quick fixes:

  • Schedule Failed: If a post fails to publish, head back to Integrations and make sure your social media account is still active and connected. Accounts occasionally need to be re-authorized.

  • Wrong Posting Time: If a post went out at the wrong hour, double-check and update your timezone preferences in your calendar settings.

  • Post Not Showing Up Right Away: Don’t panic! Sometimes it takes a few minutes for a newly scheduled post to appear on your calendar view. Give the page a quick refresh after a couple of minutes.
