Claiming an existing artist profile on ArtHelper
If you’ve found a profile of your work already on ArtHelper, you can claim it — prove you’re the artist, take ownership, and start managing your portfolio. This guide walks through the two-step claim process.
Before you start
You’ll need:
The URL of your existing profile (it ends in arthelper.com/your-name — the part after the slash is your profile slug).
Access to the email address you want to use for the account.
How to claim your profile
Open your profile on ArtHelper.
Click the option to claim the profile, or go directly to the claim URL: arthelper.com/claim/<your-slug>/verify.
On the claim page, enter your email address and click Send Verification Link.
Check your inbox. You’ll get an email with a verification link. Click the link to confirm you control that email address.
The link brings you back to the claim page, now on step 2 with Email Verified! at the top.
Pick how you want to finish creating your account: click Continue with Google to sign up with your Google account, or create a password (at least 8 characters), confirm it, and click Create Account.
Your account is created and the profile is claimed. You’ll see Profile Claimed! and a button to Sign In to Your Account.
The verification email can take a minute or two to arrive. If it doesn’t show up, check your spam folder and try clicking Use a different email to resend with a different address.
What “claiming” actually does
Claiming the profile connects it to your new ArtHelper account. After claiming, you can:
Edit your bio, artist statement, location, avatar, and links.
Add, remove, or rearrange artwork.
Get the Human-Made Art badge.
Use the Assistant, mockups, sparks, and every other ArtHelper feature.
Connect with other artists, post in the community, and message your network.
If the profile is already claimed
If you try to claim a profile that someone has already claimed, you’ll be sent to the sign-in page instead. That means an account already controls the profile.
If you believe that account is not the real artist, contact support — we can investigate ownership.
If your email is already on another ArtHelper account
The claim process will let you know that an account with that email already exists. In that case, sign into your existing account first, then claim the profile from there.
Common questions
How long does verification take?
The email usually arrives within a minute. Once you click the link, the claim is complete.
Can someone else claim my profile?
Only someone with access to a working email can verify, and the system also checks for existing accounts. If you’re worried someone else has claimed a profile of your work, contact support and we’ll review.
Can I claim my profile with Google instead of a password?
Yes. After your email is verified, click Continue with Google to finish setting up with your Google account.
What if I never get the verification email?
Check your spam folder. If it’s still missing, click Use a different email on the claim page and try a different address — most often a Gmail or Outlook address gets through if a custom-domain one is being filtered.
I claimed the wrong profile — what now?
Contact support from your Billing page. We can detach the wrong profile and help you claim the right one.
